Riley Wranglers 36th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair
The Riley Wranglers Square Dance Club will be sponsoring its 36th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The event will be held at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds (620 N Apple St.) in Greenfield from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Buildings are all handicap accessible. 100+ booths, live local entertainment & food. Free parking and admission.

Hillforest House Museum
Overlooking the Ohio River in Aurora, the beautiful Hillforest Victorian House Museum was built in 1855 for industrialist Thomas Graff. Its unique shape is said to be inspired by steamboats of the 19th century. The site has been operating as a historic house museum since 1956 and is one of 11 National Historic Landmarks in southern Indiana. Hillforest opens for tours today and hosts many special events throughout the season. Oak Heritage Conservancy is a non-profit Land Conservation group who helps land owners in Southern Indiana protect their property from development. We also work to get kids out into nature and away from the video games!

“Butterflies and Beer” hosted by Oak Heritage Conservancy
Join us as we search for Monarchs and other pollinators at Monarch Meadows Nature Preserve and then cool down with a refreshing beer at Great Crescent Brewery in Aurora, Indiana. We’ll meet at 3:30 pm at Monarch Meadows located at 2287 Dibble Rd, Rising Sun, Indiana 47040 and explore the 85-acre preserve. Staff and volunteers will be on hand from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm to help identify the many species and share the history of Monarch Meadows.
Starting at 5:00 pm come and enjoy a cold brew at Great Crescent Brewery and learn about the work Oak Heritage is doing in southeast Indiana to preserve and protect land and water resources. Great Crescent Brewery features thirst quenching craft beer and delicious food in a comfortable setting. A portion of all taproom sales from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm will go to Oak Heritage Conservancy. Great Crescent Brewery is located at 315 Importing Street Aurora, IN 47001.
