Erin large faculty band achieves gold common at tunes competition

ERIN  – The Erin Songs Players Orchestra (TEMPO) band at Erin District Higher School (EDHS) was awarded the gold typical at the Golden Horseshoe Songs Competition in Ancaster on March 2.  

Twenty-two students in the TEMPO band from Grades 9 via 12 attended the annual non-competitive new music competition, where by judges rank each individual band centered on their effectiveness through the function. 

More than 100 school bands participated, and judges gave each and every band one of 4 ratings: gold, silver, bronze, or participant.  

Instruments played in the TEMPO band include flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, and percussion — and the band methods prior to college each individual Tuesday and Thursday morning.
